CESC FABREGAS is on the verge of completing his dream move to Barcelona and bringing an end to one of the longest transfer sagas of recent years.
The Arsenal midfielder, 24, is expected in Spain over the next 24 hours to complete a £36million move and commit to a five-year deal after lengthy negotiations took place on Friday.
He could be presented as a Barceloana player as early as tomorrow and potentially make his debut against Real Madrid in the Spanish Super Cup on Sunday.
Fabregas is set to travel with the Barca squad to Madrid ahead of the match.
The influential midfielder had been a long-term target of the Catalan giants and as Spain celebrated their World Cup win last summer his team-mates teased him by pulling a Barcelona shirt over his head.
